Hello All,
As always things are busy around here. Quyn recieved an A/B honor roll ribbon for the first quarter of 4th grade! We are convinced that if he could remember to bring home all his work he would get an all A honor roll, but we're still proud of him. Shane and I have decided that this is his "age of accountability" year. He was placed in a accelerated group and typically has 3 to 5 more pages of work per subject per day! Quyn is totally unaware that he has more work and we have no plans to inform him! He has stepped up to the plate and is doing well! Our little kindergartner, Eli, is doing very well! He has had a "green smiley face" day every day! He also made the "One Hundred" club; he was so excited he called everyone he could! (they have to be able to count to one hundred by the end of kinder) Our four year old Noah is still challenging every boundary anyone establishes. He has learned his birth date and how to spell his name and manages to wear his glasses most of the time!
Shane and I have been attempting to build a brick and stone patio for about 4 weekends! It's a wonder I'm here typing and not buried underneath it! It's been a challenge to say the least! I'll post a picture when it's complete if it is picture worthy!
The boys will have to fend for themselves for 4 whole days! I'm flying to Florida later this week! I leave this Thurs and return Monday am! Just in time to really feel the holidays approaching at UPS!
I hope all is well with every ones perspective families! Please don't forget to pray for Wendy, Doug, Savannah and Isaac along with all of our other soldiers and their families as well! Love to you all!

Always fun and excitement at the McGouyrk house but you left out the story about being locked in at the home improvement store!
Good job boys! Quyn is stretching his limits in school, Eli is vying with Elmo for the love school the most title and Noah is at least predictable.
Here is a very easy trivia question for Quynten; What kind of beverage was invented for, and named after the athletes at the University of Florida? Get this and someone will come up with a harder one.
